Bidyadanga Arts Centre

At Bidyadanga Artists, our collective represents the five language groups: Karajarri, Juwaliny, Mangala, Nyangumarta, and Yulparija. These diverse backgrounds are expressed through a wide variety of styles and stories in each piece of art, making every work unique.

The art centre encourages learning and collaboration. Our artists have been developing skills in canvas preparation, material handling, and paint mixing, ensuring their work is of the highest quality. BACLG has been supporting the art centre since its inception and we are building toward a sustainable future for the arts in our community, in line with BACLG’s vision of “a strong, engaged community creating a dynamic future.”

Though Bidyadanga Artists is a relatively new collective, our talented artists have already made an impact. In recent years, we’ve been producing high-quality original works that are now featured in exhibitions, art awards, and homes across Australia. Our community is constantly evolving, with more artists engaging in creative projects and new initiatives.
