BIDYADANGA ABORIGINAL COMMUNITY LA GRANGE INC (BACLGI)

Bidyadanga is the largest remote Aboriginal Community in WA. Located on Karajarri country 180kms south of Broome in the West Kimberley region, Bidyadanga is home to five tribes with a population of around 850 people. BACLGI is the representative body for the community and was established in 1975. There are two representatives from each language group and a chairperson sitting on the council. With a growing population, the council is looking at opportunities to improve living standards and create better futures for community members through new ventures like Ngapa Laparnarna Services with Flow Water Services. The career pathways this partnership will provide community members are exciting, giving opportunities with a business that is closely linked to Bidyadanga community.
